Meet Melissa “Mellybear” Wade from the Westrand of Johannesburg, she is known as The Stance Queen on the local stance scene.
She drives a red Volkswagen Polo that she has built up to her own unique taste throughout the years.
Melissa loves the stance scene a lot but her true interest is her car audio system, she loves to be heard before she is seen and Wade has won a number of trophies for her banging sound system.
When Melissa was in school she used to admire the stance cars that other guys used to drive and she always told herself that one day she would also have a stance car with obnoxiously loud sound.
Melissa was fortunate enough to win best ladies ride at VW Campfest 2019 even though she didn’t enter the show.
Her brother in-law Ashwin Trump entered her car into the show for her and he also helps her when she needs to get her Polo ready for shows.
For Melissa she is part of the stance scene because she enjoys the people she meets at shows and the memories she makes along the way with her beloved ride and friends.
Its never about winning trophies for Wade, its all about the fun times.
