Images of the new Volkswagen Golf 8 have been making it’s rounds on social media after it was leaked by an unknown internet user.
It seems as though the images were taken aboard a ship that was transporting the updated vehicle. As you can see from the exterior picture, the headlights seem have been redesigned as they appear to be thinner and boast a thin light strip that runs across the front fascia.
The interior leaked picture shows a somehow upgraded level of technology. As reported before, there seem to be fewer buttons, with most of the functions being integrated into the touchscreen.
The infotainment system sits right next to the fully digital instrument cluster, and while it’s not as large as the Touareg’s massive 15-inch touchscreen, it still has a more than generous size.
The reveal of the Golf 8 is slated for the 24th of October 2019. As for the hot hatches – Golf GTI and Golf R – the dynamic duo has already been confirmed for a 2020 release.
